Floral Cottage Garden Transformation in Crewe
Last year, this Crewe garden was a waterlogged rectangle of turf with little to offer. This year, after installing a soakaway and French drain system beneath the new lawn to eliminate flooding, we completely reimagined the space into a functional, stunning outdoor retreat.
The garden now features a Tumbled Grey Indian Sandstone patio and curved pathway, creating a relaxed flow between spaces. The outdoor seating area is surrounded by an abundance of over 20 species of flowering plants, creating the perfect cottage garden atmosphere.
Striking delphiniums, lupins, and ceanothus already provide bursts of blue that attract bees. A garden archway and trellis panels are set to support honeysuckle and jasmine, forming a natural living wall of flowers.
To complete the timeless look, we added raised beds, a new greenhouse, and reclaimed brick borders, all of which enhance the cottage garden aesthetic while providing functional growing spaces.
